Bird Dogs for Habitat

The German Shorthaired Pointers Are Your 2022 Bird Dogs for Habitat Champions!

It’s official! After receiving more than 4,000 votes, the German shorthaired pointers will have 12 months of bragging rights as the winning breed of the 2022 Bird Dogs for Habitat Campaign!

If you didn’t vote for the repeat champion GSPs, don’t worry, every breed is a winner because the one-and-only campaign dedicated to our favorite canines contributed thousands of dollars toward our mission of upland habitat conservation.

Please accept this special thanks to you and our generous sponsors Purina®, SportDOG Brand®, RuffLand™ Kennels, Orvis®, North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association, The Flush, and Project Upland, for stepping up and supporting our efforts to create more habitat and access to the places our bird dogs love to roam. Because good bird habitat is good bird dog habitat!
