August 27, 2026 – St. Paul, Minn. – Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are proud to renew a national sponsorship with Gun Dog Grind. Their Rooster Reserve coffee will feature the PF & QF logos, and a portion of sales from each bag contributes to quality habitat and the places where bird dogs love to roam.
“We’re proud to partner with Gun Dog Grind on the co-branded Rooster Reserve coffee bag,” said Chris Kalis, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s vice president of corporate partnerships. “Whether you’re on a long road trip or just heading to your favorite piece of public land early in the morning, coffee is a key companion of the upland hunter. Through this partnership, our members and supporters will be able to experience an amazing coffee blend while supporting America’s grassland landscapes.”
The Habitat Organization is also collaborating with Arterra Media on a film titled “Backcountry Birds,” which is set to be released in the fall of 2026. Featuring the Rooster Reserve coffee, this video will take viewers on an upland hunting adventure chasing wild pheasants in South Dakota’s Grand River National Grasslands.
"At Gun Dog Grind, we've always believed coffee is about bringing people together, and few communities are stronger than the one built around bird dogs and upland hunting,” said Jake Terry, marketing director for Gun Dog Grind. “Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have spent decades protecting the habitat, public access, and traditions that make those experiences possible. We're honored to partner with an organization that shares so many of our values, and proud that Rooster Reserve can help support the conservation work that keeps bird dogs in the field for generations to come."
