Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are excited to announce Donnie Vincent – explorer, biologist, conservationist, and sportsman – as the featured guest and keynote speaker at the 2024 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic Celebration Dinner. Tickets are now available to hear Vincent’s message and attend the nation’s foremost upland hunting and conservation tradeshow coming to the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls on March 1-3, presented by Federal Ammunition.
“I am thrilled and honored to be selected as the keynote speaker at the upcoming 2024 National Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic,” said Donnie Vincent. “The fine conservationists that make-up these two great nonprofit organizations truly have their fingers on the pulse of habitat restoration and understand just how vital it is that we all continue to get our hands dirty, put in the work, and do whatever we can to ensure that our wild places stay wild. I’m excited for this opportunity to show my gratitude and thank them in-person for their continued efforts.”
Vincent grew up in Connecticut where he developed a deep appreciation for wildlife and hunting. Infatuated with his father’s stories of hunting in northern Maine and inspired by the likes of Aldo Leopold and Jack O’Connor, Vincent never veered from the path of natural resources and received his degree in wildlife biology from the University of Minnesota. His passion for nature with research projects took him to places like Bangladesh to study Bengal tigers and to Alaska to study spawning salmon.
Since then, he has produced award-winning films including The Other Side, Terra Nova, The River’s Divide, and Winds of Adak that showcase some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking locations. Driven by nature, Vincent has consistently let the outdoors and his passion for adventure be the compass for his life. The wide-open expanses of the world’s most remote territories dominate his thoughts and conversations.
