Will utilize business development skills to expand the organization’s mission effort

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are proud to introduce Jack Wahl as the new regional representative for northwestern Iowa. Wahl will actively contribute to the organization's goals of improving public and private lands conservation efforts for pheasants, quail and other wildlife.

“I’m thrilled to have Jack on board,” said Matt Christensen, Pheasants Forever’s director of chapter and volunteer services. “I have no doubts that Jack will take advantage of his experiences in customer service and business planning to effectively help chapters reach their goals and promote Pheasants Forever’s mission.”

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever empower county and local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent - the only national conservation organization that operates through this grassroots structure. As a result, chapter volunteers can see the fruits of their efforts locally, while belonging to a larger national organization with a voice on federal and state conservation policy. Wahl will help guide local chapters to achieve the organization’s mission in Iowa.

Wahl previously served as a new business development representative for G&G Manufacturing, where he worked directly with customers’ businesses and oversaw a combined $2.6 million in the past year. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Buena Vista University.

“As an avid upland hunter with a burning passion for upland conservation, I could not think of a better organization to represent,” Wahl said. “I’m very excited for the opportunity to work with Pheasants Forever member volunteers, and to bring my skills and knowledge to the role.”
