Lifelong outdoorsman and NFL Hall of Famer will deliver keynote during the 2026 Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are thrilled to introduce former defensive end and Minnesota Vikings legend, Jared Allen, as the keynote speaker for the Elite Member & Donor breakfast at the 2026 Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic in Minneapolis.

Allen is a member of the Vikings Ring of Honor and is widely regarded as one of the premier pass rushers of his generation. Beyond the football field, Allen has a deep passion for the outdoors. Originally raised in rural California, he has spent countless hours casting a line into the water and chasing big game, upland birds, and waterfowl. Even during his NFL career and time in Minnesota, the outdoors remained a grounding force for Allen – both personally and as a way to stay connected with friends, family, and his values.

“Jared is incredibly passionate about giving back to organizations and individuals who share his values,” said David Bue, PF & QF’s Chief Development Officer. “We’re excited to welcome someone who sees the value of working together to create outcomes for upland birds and the bird hunting tradition. This is an opportunity for Jared to connect with like-minded conservationists, share his own journey, and to express his appreciation for those making a lasting impact on wildlife habitat.”

Allen’s love for service does not end at land stewardship and wildlife conservation. He is deeply involved in charitable work through Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors, an organization dedicated to supporting injured veterans and their families. Utilizing his platform to elevate his voice, Allen is purposeful in his support of causes that strengthen communities, protect wildlife habitat, and honor those who served our country.
