Pheasants Forever member Jared Kaiser and his Labrador retriever, “Piper,” closed South Dakota’s 2016-2017 pheasant hunting season in grand fashion. “We went out for one last solo hunt to end the year, a perfect end to the season,” Kaiser said, “There’s no bond like being alone on a pheasant hunt with you and your best friend. Piper is proudly owned by Kaiser and his father, Dan Kaiser, both members of the Minnehaha Chapter of Pheasants Forever based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
