“Axel” is Dale and Adele Eslinger’s 2-year-old Large Munsterlander. “Axel has proven to be an extremely hardworking and enthusiastic hunter with great proficiency in locating and retrieving pheasants in tough cover,” Adele says. The Eslingers are longtime supporters of Alberta’s Chinook Chapter of Pheasants Forever, and Dale, a retired provincial wildlife biologist, currently volunteers as the chapter’s habitat project coordinator.
