Oklahoma City, Okla. – September 1, 2026 - Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are pleased to announce Caleb Knight as the organization's new regional representative serving Oklahoma and southern Kansas. In this role, Knight will work directly with local chapters, volunteers, members, partners and supporters to strengthen conservation efforts, support fundraising initiatives, develop new chapter opportunities and advance the mission of habitat conservation across the region.

“Caleb brings tremendous energy, leadership experience, and a genuine passion for conservation to this position,” said Jerry McDonald, director of chapter and volunteer services for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. “His ability to connect with people, build strong relationships and inspire others around a shared mission will be a tremendous asset to our chapters and volunteers throughout Oklahoma and southern Kansas. We’re excited to welcome Caleb to the team and look forward to the impact he will make across the region.”

Knight brings a unique combination of leadership, relationship-building, marketing expertise and a lifelong passion for the outdoors to his new position. A native of Checotah, Oklahoma, Knight earned a Bachelor of Arts in American studies from the University of Virginia, where he was a full-time student-athlete. He spent eight years in the Chicago Cubs organization as a professional baseball player before transitioning into habitat management, outdoor media, youth mentorship and entrepreneurship through his company, Bullpen Outdoors.

Throughout his career, Knight has developed strong connections within the outdoor community while promoting conservation, responsible hunting and outdoor education. As founder of Bullpen Outdoors, Knight has built partnerships throughout the hunting and outdoor industries, created educational content for sportsmen and women, and cultivated a growing network of conservation-minded individuals. His experience collaborating with volunteers, sponsors, landowners and community partners makes him well-positioned to support the grassroots chapter structure that is the foundation of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.

"I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to join Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever and serve the Oklahoma and southern Kansas regions,” said Knight. “Conservation has always been something I’ve been passionate about, and I’m looking forward to building relationships with chapter leaders, volunteers, and communities across the region. I’m excited to bring the same energy, competitiveness, and commitment that shaped my baseball career into this next chapter, while helping grow the organization’s impact for wildlife, habitat, and future generations.”
