PF & QF’s Adult Learn to Hunt events are designed for adults who are curious about hunting but don’t know where to start. These beginner-friendly experiences offer hands-on instruction in firearm safety, hunting skills, and conservation, all in a supportive, no-pressure environment. Led by passionate mentors, you’ll gain confidence in the field, connect with like-minded people, and learn how hunting plays a vital role in wildlife and habitat conservation—no experience or minimal gear needed, just a willingness to learn.

Thumbs Up Women on the Wing will have volunteers who will handle bird dogs and mentor the hunters. The chapter is also providing ammunition for the event (12 gauge and 20 gauge).

Participants do need to have a MICHIGAN BASE LICENSE and HUNTER'S SAFETY before the event. Hunter's orange vest/shirt/coat will be required for the hunt.
