You're Invited!

Autumn is a great time to manage habitat! Learn some tips and tricks to improve wildlife habitat on your property before winter. Topics include:

•    Site preparation techniques before frost seeding.
•    Controlling woody invasives and noxious weeds.
•    Establishing winter structural cover for wildlife.
•    Federal and state cost-share programs available to landowners to improve wildlife habitat.
•    Tour the nature center and learn to identify common weeds and woody vegetation.

 

Event is free but RSVP is required. Drinks and light snacks will be provided. The event will take place outdoors and require walking on uneven ground and potential inclement weather. Please dress for the weather and bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray as needed. 

Event will take place between 9 am-1 pm.
