Elkhorn Valley "Youth Mentor Hunt" 2026​​​​​​​​

PF Youth Learn to Hunt events are all about getting kids outside, learning new skills, and having fun in the field. With hands-on activities, safe instruction, and exciting first hunts, young participants gain confidence, connect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime. They will shoot blue rock, have a dog guided pheasant hunt, and learn about habitat! 

Youth must be age 12-15 and have successfully completed Hunter Education. Registration is required by October 5th, no walk ins welcome. An email is required with registration so we can send you a Form to fill out prior to the event. Failure to fill that out prior to the event will cancel your registration and you will not be able to attend. Membership is not required to participate but are available in the "other" tab. 

This year's Youth Mentor Hunt will take place on October 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Northeast Nebraska Shooting Sports Range in rural Pierce County. There is no cost to you or your parents for this event.
