Andrew Block Memorial Pheasant Hunt

Ticket Sales for Youth Hunters begin on 10/19/2026

Youth ages 12-17 (Please no hunter under 12 years of age).  This event is limited to 48 youth hunters. Lunch provided for all.

Youth hunters must have a valid hunting license, Pheasant stamp not required for youth licenses. Three Pheasants will be released for each hunter to maximize shot opportunities.  Hunts will be done 2 hunters at a time in one of 4 different fields with mentors and dog handlers provided. Parents are encouraged to watch but not allowed infield during the hunt.  There will be a cleaning station on site so please bring a cooler.

Due to a high number of no-shows at past hunts, there will be a $20.00 ticket fee for each hunter.  Each hunter will be registered for a grand prize shotgun given away at the end of the event.

PF Youth Learn to Hunt events are all about getting kids outside, learning new skills, and having fun in the field. With hands-on activities, safe instruction, and exciting first hunts, young participants gain confidence, connect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime. All Michigan DNR laws need to be followed during the event including the two-bird bag limit.
