Youth Learn to Hunt Event — Treasure Valley Pheasants Forever

Get ready for a day the kids won't forget! The Treasure Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever is bringing the next generation into the field for our annual Youth Learn to Hunt Event — a hands-on adventure built around safety, skill-building, and the thrill of a first hunt. From their first steps into the field to the excitement of flushing a rooster, every moment is about building confidence and creating lasting memories.

What kids will experience:

• Hands-on firearm safety and handling instruction
• Guided wing shooting practice before the hunt
• A real, mentored pheasant hunt in the field over expertly trained birddogs
• Time outdoors learning conservation and hunting ethics
• The pride of their first hunt — and stories they'll tell for years

Whether your young hunter has never held a shotgun or is ready to bag their first bird, this event meets them where they are and helps them grow. Our volunteer mentors are passionate about passing down hunting heritage and love watching that spark ignite in a new generation of outdoorsmen and women.
