Please join us Saturday September 26th, 2026 for this years Youth/Adult Mentor day.  This event is FREE.  We will provide designated time slots the week of the event.


 

4-5 Activity stations will be available during the event: Trap shooting, Archery, Bird cleaning, and supervised bird hunt with dogs.  Every hunter will get a shot at a live bird.   


 

This event is FREE.  Event is limited to the first 48 registered participants.  All hunters must have their DNR Hunter Safety Certificate with them.  Please register at the link on this page.  Registration is required so that we get enough birds for everyone.  


 

PF & QF’s Youth Learn to Hunt events are all about getting kids outside, learning new skills, and having fun in the field. With hands-on activities, safe instruction, and exciting first hunts, young participants gain confidence, connect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime.  


 

*Note: Hunter's with physical disabilities please inquire about accessible accommodations.  We will have an outdoor wheel chair available on site for anyone who needs it from our friends at AAW (https://www.accessabilitywi.org/)*
