Opportunity Details

Pheasants Forever is seeking a qualified heavy equipment operator to aid in the construction of an exclusionary fence set around an 80-acre restoration site. Qualified contracts will be asked to help relocate and place 1 – ton steel panels around the perimeter of the restoration site to limit access to large ungulates as the native planting develops.

Located a few miles east of Medora, ND. The restoration site has easy road access to both the storage location and the restoration site.

Project work is scheduled for November – December of 2026 in hopes of limiting ground disturbance and compaction due to heavy equipment operation on the site by operating when the ground has frozen. Selected contractor will work alongside PFQFs Habitat Restoration Manager to coordinate logistics upon award.

This RFQ will close on October 16th, 2026. All inquiries regarding proposal submission may be directed to Anthony Checchi at achecchi@pheasantsforever.org.
