Pheasants Forever Inc., with the support of the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), is seeking proposals for the treatment of woody and herbaceous invasive species 114.28 acres of land at French Creek State Park, at 177 Center Rd., Douglassville, PA, 19518, about 2 miles south of HWY 422 in Berks County. The Hopewell Big Woods Trail runs through this stand. Services requested include the chemical treatment of invasive herbaceous, shrub, and tree species, and the mulching of the hedgerow areas within the stands (11.22 acres).

An official site visit will occur on July 9th, 9:00-11:00 a.m. As this is a public site, visits may occur outside of this time. Please inform the project manager that you visited the site. The bids of contractors that visit the site will be given extra consideration. Any work must be completed by 03/31/2027. This RFP will close on July 17th, 2026.
