St. Paul, Minn. – August 14, 2025 - Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF) are thrilled to introduce Megan Tenenbaum as the organization's new director of annual giving.
She brings more than a decade of expertise in strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and multi-channel campaign leadership to The Habitat Organization. In her new role, Tenenbaum will provide leadership and development of comprehensive annual giving programs and expand donor engagement programs that strengthen the connection between donors and the organization's mission.
“Megan's proven track record in building scalable fundraising programs and cultivating meaningful donor relationships that drive mission impact makes her an incredible asset to our team”, said Brian Essling, PF & QF's vice president of membership and annual giving. “Armed with her passion for conservation, community, and love of the outdoors, her innovative approach and data-driven strategies will help us further our mission to expand, educate, and engage the upland conservation community.”
Tenenbaum joins Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, where she led their comprehensive annual giving program. Under her leadership, the school achieved record donor retention rates, implemented award-winning stewardship strategies, and grew high-impact fundraising campaigns.
Additionally, she holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Policy and Management from the University of Minnesota, and is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE).
“I've always had a deep interest in conservation and the outdoors”, Tenenbaum said. “PF & QF's grassroots model of mobilizing members and volunteers around conservation is a powerful and inspiring approach that aligns closely with both my values and professional goals. I'm very excited to be a part of driving The Habitat Organization's enduring legacy!”
