Saturday afternoon event to feature complimentary beer, chances to win guns, and great hunting and fishing trips up for bid

As if there’s not enough to see and do at National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic at the Minneapolis Convention Center February 14-16, here’s another must see / must do.
Come to the all-new, first-time-ever Live Hunt / Fish Auction at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Room 103, just outside the front of the Show Floor. Think of it as sort of an early Happy Hour and little break from the day, with the side benefits of some super hunting and fishing trips to bid on, and the chance to win guns!
Here’s what you get for a mere $20 ticket, with all event proceeds going to Pheasants Forever / Quail Forever’s habitat mission:

* A chance to win a gun for every 50 tickets sold
* A wide variety of hunting and fishing trips up for bid … “book” your next adventure right there
“I’m pretty excited about all the trips up for bid,” says Jared Wiklund, Pheasants Forever’s public relations manager and one of the event’s coordinators. “All the trips are just great. Here are a few examples.”
“There are two Ontario hunts – one grouse/duck combo, the other a bear hunt,” he says. “I have my eye on one of them but I’m not saying which. A Missouri rabbit, quail and pheasant trifecta teams up with an African safari in the same package … now that’s cool.”
“And a bowfishing trip with Edge Bowfishing would be a fun one too,” he adds. “It’s a night trip, they’re all decked out and set up … you just show up and skewer some rough fish. How great is that?”
