Your online votes/donations, coupled with generous contributions from our sponsors - Purina Pro Plan, SportDOG Brand®, Irish Setter Boots, Merck Animal Health, YETI and MidWest Outdoors– helped raise nearly $48,000 for Pheasants Forever’s mission during this year’s Bird Dogs for Habitat campaign
! The breed garnering the most votes this year, topping 1,700, was the German shorthaired pointer.
Fittingly, the grand prize winner among donors was Pheasants Forever member Brian Panzer, the owner of a new GSP named “Remi.” The pup will wear a SportDOG Brand®
TEK 2.0 GPS Tracking + E-Collar as he takes to the field. Panzer was grateful knowing his contribution is helping conservation. An Indiana resident, Panzer supports local Pheasants Forever chapters and travels to hunt all over the country, his favorite trips being for South Dakota roosters and Kansas bobwhites.
Weekly winners included:
- Week 1, Daniel Burden of Iowa, YETI Tundra 45 cooler
- Week 2, Marie Wade of Maine, Irish Setter Boots
- Week 3, Emily Dunham of Iowa, SportDOG Brand® SportHunter® 1225 E-collar
- Week 4, Jim Crouse of Ohio, year’s supply of Purina Pro Plan
