Eastern Red Cedar Removal in the Great Plains is Restoring Vast Grassland Ecosystems

The rapid expansion of eastern red cedar trees in the Great Plains creates issues for upland birds and ranchers alike. Their removal, mostly via perscribed fire, is helping restore healthy grassland ecosystems.
