Driftwood's twelve log-style cabins, originally built in 1935, are nestled along the shoreline of Minnesota's best walleye lake, Kabetogama, in Voyageurs National Park. These are modern housekeeping cabins with beautiful hardwood floors and great views of the lake. (See the resort map on the Driftwood Cabins page.) Also available on the premises are eight additional log cabins -- many have been completely remodeled throughout -- at Deer Horn Resort (See the resort map on the Deer Horn Cabins page). Accommodations now feature a total of 20 cozy, old-time log cabins that will provide you all the comfort needed for a relaxing vacation in the north woods. All cabins are totally modern, nicely equipped for housekeeping, and have great decks or porches that will enable you to enjoy excellent views of beautiful Kabetogama Lake and Voyageurs National Park.
For family fun, Driftwood offers a recreation room in the lodge, a Monday night Ice Cream Dessert Social (guests are invited to bring a dessert to share), and a Friday Night Bonfire for sharing tales of the week's catch and the inevitable "one that got away". Also available in the lodge are amenities such as lake maps, postcards, frozen pizzas, ice cream, candy, pop, ice, T-shirts, fleece and souvenir items. A free paddleboat is available in the harbor area; weekly activities for the kids include a fishing contest, wiffle ball, beach/swim day and tie-dying Driftwood Lodge T-shirts.
Also available in the lodge is a convenient conference room with projector, screen, meeting table and wireless Internet. If a corporate event is in the offing, give us a call to reserve your spot!
