Five Question Friday with Sara Polge, Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever's National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC) fund raising specialist.
PF: Where do you live and at what age can you hunt in your state?
SP: I live in Syracuse, New York. Our youth hunting ages are small game at 12-years-old and big game at 16-years-old.
PF: What is your favorite pastime?
SP: My favorite pastime is hanging out with friends and family.
PF: What is your proudest Pheasants Forever / Quail Forever moment?
SP: My proudest moment was when I received the New York Youth Conservationist Award.
PF: Who got you involved in conservation?
SP: My Dad and Chuck Thousand are the people who got me involved in conservation.
PF: What is your favorite thing about Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever?
SP: My favorite thing is it applies to youth and women.
NOTE: The NYLC was formed in 2006 and is comprised of youth from around the country who were picked for their leadership abilities and their interest in conservation, habitat and hunting. They serve as spokespeople for their age group on issues of importance to Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.
