Five Question Friday: Brooks VanDerBeek
Five Question Friday with Brooks VanDerBeek. Brooks is the newly elected Public Relations Specialist of the National Youth Leadership Council, the Ringnecks program's leadership committee.
PF: Where do you attend school, and can you tell us a little about it?
BV: I attend Oskaloosa Middle School in Oskaloosa, Iowa and am currently in the 8th grade. I live in a rural community so our population is small and everyone pretty much knows everyone else.
PF: How would you rate the cafeteria food there?
BV: The regular school lunch is usually nasty but we have this thing called a la carte where we can get other items.
PF: What got you interested in Public Relations?
BV: I enjoy theater and promoting Pheasants Forever this way I can do both.
PF: Enjoy the summers off while you have them. What do you do during your summer vacations?
BV: Sometimes we take a long vacation to visit family in Maryland which is awesome but, typically I just hang out with friends, sleep in, go to our local pool and go fishing with my big brother.
PF: The best thing about being a part of Pheasants Forever is...?
BV: The best thing about being part of Pheasants Forever is being part of bettering the environment and promoting youth hunting.
