Five Question Friday: Diane Lueck

Five Question Friday: Diane Lueck

Five Question Friday with Diane Lueck. The Director for "Becoming an Outdoors-Woman," and an Outreach Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources, Lueck serves on PF's National Board of Directors.

PF: You reside in Friendship, Wis. Is it really friendlier than other towns?

DL: Because I'm there, it probably increases the friendly level a huge degree.

PF: How did you become an outdoors woman?

DL: I grew up on a farm on the glacial moraine in central Wisconsin, and spent a lot of time outdoors from early on. I loved fishing with my dad, and then when I met my husband he was a hunter and he taught me to hunt. So nature plus nurture, I'd say.

PF: It's only appropriate that out of five questions to a Cheesehead, one pertain to cheese. So what's your cheese of choice?

DL: I am really really a cheese lover, but I'd say anything that's made in Wisconsin, probably cheddar.

PF: What does Wisconsin have more of: Lakes, or Milwaukee Bucks fans?

DL: There are 15,000 lakes in Wisconsin (take that, Land of 10,000 Lakes) and every one is a precious jewel. I'm not too familiar with any bucks except whitetails.

PF: Will this be Brett Favre's last season?

DL: You're asking the wrong person about organized sports. But if he throws it, I can shoot it.
