Remembering Aldo Leopold (Audio CD)

This landmark CD provides the opportunity to gain a personal reflection on Aldo Leopold and his legacy from eighteen people who knew, worked and studied with him. Originally broadcast in 1976, the award winning retrospective Remembering Aldo Leopold, lets you learn about Leopold’s role in conservation from his widow Estella, brother Frederick, sister Marie, children Nina and Carl, students Art Hawkins, Robert McCabe, Joseph Hickey, Frances and Frederick Hamerstrom, plus dozens of colleagues and friends who relate their personal experiences. In addition to the oral history on Aldo Leopold, this two CD set features three other stories that Jim Voegeli produced for NPR, including: his first radio production, Speaking of Wilderness; Children’s View of Trees and America on Fire.
