“Syrus” is Matt Morgan’s 4-month-old pudelpointer, shown here working on his skills in a stand of grain sorghum. “We plant food plots on our land for quail, turkey, deer and many other species, Morgan says, “We saw a wild covey of bobwhites by a plot yesterday while riding through the farm.” Morgan is a member of the Flint River (Georgia) Chapter of Quail Forever. The chapter provides food and cover plot seed to its members at its annual fundraising banquet.
