Pheasants Forever member Neil Mueller and his Labrador retriever, “Sadie,” found opening day success at the onset of Minnesota’s pheasant hunting season. A fox-red colored yellow lab, Sadie, worked up this rooster on a Walk-In Access program tract in Watonwan County in south-central Minnesota. “Big shout out to the Minnesota private landowners who participate in the WIA program,” Mueller says, “My pup and I are very appreciative and grateful to these landowners that provide opportunity for the public to participate in a great pastime, thank you so much!”
