Mary Ann Buenzow bagged this autumn 2015 rooster over her English springer, “Oakley,” shortly after the spaniel turned 14-years-old. “This is probably the last pheasant I’ll shoot over her,” she says, “She was my first hunting dog and we learned to hunt together.” Buenzow and her husband, Brian, are active Pheasants Forever members from Wisconsin. Brian introduced Mary Ann to bird hunting.
