Presents Dog of the Day

Tango and Brio

7fc61b50-e41e-4ad3-add7-11879d2913a0 Bradley Brunken’s Labrador retriever duo – 10-year-old “Tango” and 7-month-old “Brio” – worked this wild Michigan rooster at a state game area enhanced upland habitat thanks to Pheasants Forever chapters and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. “It’s proof that if you create great habitat, the birds will come,” Brunken says. “This wild bird was flushed by Tango but Brio, with her young legs, was the first dog there for the retrieve.  She made a classic retrieve to hand.  Looks like she will be doing this for years to come!” An enthusiastic Pheasants Forever supporter, Brunken serves on Pheasants Forever’s state leadership council in Michigan as treasurer.
