Like many Pheasants Forever members, I celebrated the 2013 pheasant season by hunting a newly re-opened Waterfowl Production Area in central Minnesota on Saturday. My group of five hunters and six dogs were lucky enough to bag nine roosters on the opener; including the pair I’m displaying at the end of the day’s “golden hour” in the photo above.
As you can see in the picture, my shorthair’s eyes are aglow in the fading daylight, so I thought it’d make for a fun caption contest. And to coax participation, I’ll be awarding my favorite three captions with a a four-pack of dog supplements courtesy of SportDOG brand.
